Most people need both: where the course stands under the syllabus weights, and what the remaining exam has to hit. Doing that in one flow beats jumping between three thin tabs.
Over 100% is a real answer
If the math needs 108%, we say the target is not reachable under those weights. Dumping a number and walking away helps nobody planning a study night.
Your portal stays the source of truth
Nothing logs into Canvas or Blackboard. You type what the syllabus or gradebook already shows. If ungraded work is counting as zero, fix that input first.
Finals week is a numbers problem first
The syllabus already named the exam weight. What trips people up is the grade you have before that exam — especially when the portal shows zeros for work that is not due yet, or when “current” already baked in a blank final. You usually need two answers: where the course sits under these weights, and what the remaining piece has to score for a letter or a percent target.
This site runs in your browser. It does not sync with an LMS. If your professor curves, drops the lowest quiz, or parks the final inside a Tests category instead of as its own line, change the inputs to match — a three-box toy that ignores the handbook will lie politely.

What these numbers are — and are not
Planning numbers. Your instructor’s posted grade, curves, and extra credit rules win. This is not admissions advice, not a fake transcript, and not a Canvas extension.
If the result says you need 32% to pass, you can stop rehearsing panic math. If it says 101%, you either lower the target, raise what is left before the exam, or accept that the A is gone under those weights. That is the whole point of running the numbers early.
